Coal Price Spike Prompts Shift towards Biomass-addisfortune

A plant known as Prosopis Juliflora can replace coal as a source of energy for cement factories; a research carried out on the production of Biomass energy affirms. The study was undertaken to reduce the ever-growing expenses of coal by cement factories and thereby bring down the price of cement. The findings of the research were disclosed during the launching ceremony of the recently finalised 10-year roadmap of cement production, which aspires for a carbon-free cement industry in the next seven years.
