Zero Carbon Emission Light Rail Way System Goes Operational In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

My ride on the $475m Addis Ababa's light rail way system comes true. It has been eagerly awaited by so many Ethiopians not just to alleviate the transport burden in the fastest growing city of Addis Ababa but also  hopeful of changing the image of the country as a whole. It draws its electricity supply from the hydro based national grid which is in compliance to the nation's climate resilient green growth strategy.

The longest cross country rail way systems is yet to follow in the coming year anticipated to play a major contribution to trade and logistics of the nation.
